    Retiring her license in 2004, Storme has since been a self care/health resource consultant, health educator and advocate, with an emphasis on restoring calm and balance. She educates clients in mindfulness-based, present-moment, self-care practices. Understanding the power of limbic brain connection - reflection, resonance, regulation and stabilization - she demystifies emotions, as well as teaches how to listen to, and put to practical use, the guidance the emotional body offers. 

  • Storme teaches critical thinking about self care, health care and health care delivery, with an emphasis on health maintenance and the prevention of illness. She also stresses the importance of context in shaping our physical, emotional/mental and spiritual health. Storme is a student and certified teacher of a qigong [meditative, mindful movements from Eastern Medicine practices] of unconditional love: Sheng Zhen Gong, a Level II Reiki practitioner, and a participant consultant with Whispering Power Consulting. She is an active learner/facilitator in The White Privilege Conference, an ongoing learning community that works on issues of equity and social justice through self and social transformation.
